The One Heart Project targets homeless individuals in shelters, specifically women 18 and up. Our goal is to provide individuals with substantial resources that will enable them to better themselves and their situations. Such resources include job readiness workshops like resume building, LinkedIn seminars, life skills training, counseling/advice groups, etc. We also provide all individuals with mock interviews that will enhance their interview taking skills. Our focus is to teach these women skills that will give them a competitive advantage when seeking a secure job. At the end of the workshop cycle, all participants will receive professional clothing from One Heart as well as a certificate of completion from the project that they can put on their resumes.
