We will be doing a morning shift at Beth El Hebrew Congregation in which we will be participating in the 12th year of their Oral Rehydration Therapy Project. Volunteers are needed to help prepare 20,000 oral rehydration kits to be sent abroad to those in danger of death from dehydration.
An Oral Rehydration kit includes packets of salt, sugar, baking soda, and potassium. These items, when combined with water and consumed orally, can prevent severe dehydration causes by illness.
